Amplification

Amplifier circuit
We do undertake many types of amplification repairs, both valve (tube) and solid state, mainly guitar and bass amps on the whole, but power amps too.

Each amp repair is taken on it's own merits, and without seeing the amp it's very difficult to guess what is wrong and give an accurate quote beforehand. Do get in touch if you feel unsure, we might be able to offer some clues as to roughly where things are at, even if we can't offer accurate quotes.

The value of the amp relative to the repair cost will always be taken into consideration, and if we feel the repair cost would outweigh or equate to the value of the amplifier (there is always a little subjectivity involved here), we will want to discuss that specific point with you before proceeding.

We do keep some smaller components in stock, but things like output devices (valves or transistors) and speakers are got in as required due to the value and possible variety required, so some repair times can be affected accordingly.

If you want to upgrade something like the speaker, get in touch!
